In last night's episode, we saw Doug and Ste argue within about five minutes of their first kiss.
Jen dumped Tilly, Ruby ditched Esther. Meanwhile Brendan got a blast from the past in the form of hot new character Walker.
In the club, Joel has to do some gross chores - like cleaning toilets - before he's back in Brendan's good books. Surprisingly, the Scot does his penance and is forgiven for risking Brendan's licence.
They go out for a few rounds of pool, and Joel beats Brendan. He's literally got his game back!
Ste's realised that he fancies Doug, just as Doug pretends his confession never happened. They're all awkward conversations and nervous glances until Cindy arrives with £40 for them to treat themselves with - it's an extra thankyou for helping out with Tony's not-surprise not-birthday party last night. Doug goes to buy some booze, but Adam's at the offie.
After a tetchy conversation, Doug finds out Adam's dumped Ste because he thinks Ste's in love with Doug. Doug rushes back to the deli and locks the doors - he wants to have a go at Ste for pretending he was still going out with Adam, and Ste shouts at Doug for taking back what he said about loving him. Just as the argument gets really heated, they snog. Finally! And they live happy ever after?
Not quite. Brendan comes to the deli and is intimidating and strange. Doug knows what he's after, but Ste doesn't. On top of this, Doug's too afraid to show Ste any affection in public. Ste tells him he's not ready for them to be together if he's not ready to come out. Just when Brendan's seeming very sinister, a new man in town to topple him from his creep-throne. Walker - who has already got Cheryl and Cindy fighting over him - surprises Brendan at the bar, and it's clear that the Irishman's guest is very unwelcome.
Tilly is totally devastated about Jen, but now she has the photo that started the rumours - Esther's photo which shows Jen making a move on Tilly. She gives it to Jen but can't stay to chat - there's no way they can be seen together now that everyone knows.
They meet later in private. Tilly tells Jen the rumours have been cleared up and that she's owed an apology. Jen apologises and tells Tilly how much she wants her. Tilly sees this as a good sign - but Jen admits this is exactly why nothing can happen between them - she doesn't trust herself around the student.
Tilly's far too wallowy and heartbroken to go out for the night with Maddie, Sinead, George and George's jazzy jacket, so Maddie invites Ruby along. Ruby ditches her plans to have a girly night in with Esther so she can hang out with the popular college kids.
Do you think Ste and Doug's friendship has gone past the point of no return? Will Jen and Tilly ever be able to go out? And when is Ruby going to realise that Maddie's no fun at all?
