ROBERT Pattinson looked every inch the Hollywood heartthrob as he walked the
red carpet in Cannes last night.
All eyes were on the Twilight star — who looked super-stylish in
a sharp suit, skinny tie and retro sunglasses — at the
premiere of girlfriend Kristen Stewart’s new film On The Road.
R-Patz was careful not to get photographed with Kristen as the pair like to
keep their relationship private.
But there was no way he would miss seeing the first showing of his
girlfriend's new movie — especially as she spends most of it TOPLESS.
Kristen, 22, plays wild-child teenager Marylou in the adaptation of the
classic Jack Kerouac novel.

She is totally naked when she first appears on screen and goes on to take part
in several racy sex scenes.
The raunchy role is a big change for Kristen, who is best known for playing
shy Bella Swan in the Twilight vampire saga.
But the actress said she LOVED doing the sex scenes in On The Road.

She admitted: "I love pushing and I love scaring myself.
“To watch a genuine experience onscreen is so much more interesting.
“As long as you're being really honest, there's nothing ever to be ashamed of."
On The Road is a sex, drugs and alcohol-fuelled coming-of-age story in which
Kristen’s character become the long-term mistress of charismatic hedonist
Dean Moriarty, played by Tron star Garrett Hedlund.
The film sees K-Stew have group sex, smoke marijuana and drink heavily.
Kirsten Dunst and Lord of the Rings star Viggo Mortensen also star in the
movie and walked the red carpet last night.
While leggy Kristen chose a green and cream print dress split to the thigh,
Kirsten kept it simple with an elegant Dior gown in hot pink.

The cast were all hoping that On The Road would be picked for the film
festival’s coveted Palme d'Or prize.
It is up against 21 other films for the prestigious award — including
Cosmopolis, starring Robert Pattinson.
So was R-Patz at the premiere just to check out his girlfriend, or was he
really checking out the competition?
